Day 12 – Two words/phrases that make you laugh

Ok.  This one is about as vague and pointless as the fruit question.

I have bumper stickers that I put on my door in college that made me laugh.  Well, I taped them up there with the backing still on because I didn’t want to destroy the door.  They are now firmly stuck to my guitar case.  They are, in no particular order:

  • Grow your own dope, plant a man.
  • Just when you think life’s a bitch, it has puppies.
  • It’s not where you pick your nose, it’s where you put the booger.
  • PMS?  Hell, this is one of my better days.

Ok, none of these are EXTREMELY funny.  Except maybe the booger one.  That’s mildly amusing.

There’s another sticker on my guitar case (I had to go get it to look because I couldn’t remember the puppy one exactly, and I’d forgotten the PMS one altogether.) which I put on there recently that says: “What Would Scooby Do?”

Yeah.  Not hilarious.

How about two of my favorite short jokes?

Wait.

Lemme see if the 30 Day Blogging Challenge I am going by has a post about jokes.

*insert Jeopardy theme*

Back now.  No joke questions in the upcoming days.  You’re in luck.

SO here you go.

Why is the ocean blue?

Because all the little fishies go blu-blu-blu . . .

and

What do you call a fish with no eyes?

A fsssssssshhhhhhhhhhhh . . .

You have to read them out loud.

Ok, one more.

Two nuns walk into a bar.  The third one ducked.

That’s all I got, folks.

See you at Day 13.

  1. I have to admit that some of my son’s puerile humour actually includes some of the expressions I persistently find the funniest. ‘Butt sculpture’ as a euphemism for ‘turd’ is one of my favourites, but I couldn’t write a whole blog entry about it…
